    Elon Musk departs OpenAI board

    OpenAI announced that co-founder Elon Musk would depart its board of directors, while continuing to donate to and advise the organization. The official announcement explained the move as eliminating a potential future conflict of interest as Tesla became more focused on AI. The board thereafter consisted of Greg Brockman, Ilya Sutskever, Holden Karnofsky, and Sam Altman.
